Job Description
|
Responsible for overseeing and supervising the technical support for quantitative research and trading information technology (“IT”) systems, particularly regarding the development of execution algorithms for US and global equities financial trading. Enhance and assist in the support of in-house quantitative algorithmic trading platforms used by both discretionary and quantitative traders. Supervise the ongoing design, development and maintenance of the Murex Fixed Income information technology application system and Margin information technology system. Oversee trading and applications from specifications to deployment in the company’s environment. Build and expand on the detail architecture and implementation of the company’s applications and system. Produce documentation at all levels and further develop and integrate trading systems business knowledge with technology skills. Supervise and execute all phases of the technology life cycle based on proven project management and testing methodologies utilizing technical skills such as: JAVA, Sybase, SQL, C and C++. Supervise 3 Software Engineers and 1 Quality Assurance Engineer in the performance of these duties.

Requirements
|
Min. Requirements: Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering plus 2 years experience as a Software Developer with experience working with Fixed Income (FI) applications, JAVA, Sybase, SQL, C and C++.
